Individual therapy focuses on giving people the tools to overcome obstacles and challenges hindering their success. Developing personal insight and expanding your identity and creating a solid foundation of who you are will be areas of focus and improve your happiness in your relationships. Discovering what your wants and needs are may allow you to attain both personal and professional goals and an increased sense of self-worth and peace. Treatment for depression and anxiety works and liberates you from the discomfort and immobilization of these conditions.

Whether you are struggling with current life stressors, unexpected trauma and hardship or a lifetime of mood ups and downs and anxiety, individual therapy can help address these matters and improve both short-term and long-term quality of life.

Common Questions

How much does a therapy session cost?

The fee for a 50-60 minute session, whether in-person, via phone, or online, is $175.  Payment is made at the end of each session. I accept cash, check, Venmo, credit, debit or HSA/flex spending accounts. Therapy is an investment in the best version of you, your relationships, and your family. I am dedicated to making the most of our time together to provide you with a more immediate sense of relief while keeping costs down over time. If my fee is more than you can afford, please contact me to discuss my limited slots that are offered at a reduced rate based on income.

Do you accept insurance?

I am an out-of-network provider. To determine if your insurance coverage includes outpatient therapy sessions with an out-of-network provider, contact your insurance company directly by calling the customer service number found online or on the back of your insurance card. If you choose to use your insurance, you would pay me directly and I would provide you with a super-bill that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. I also have a medical biller you can speak with who can determine what your insurance benefits would be for my services.

How do we get started?

The first step is to contact me for a free 15 minute phone consultation to discuss your needs.  We can schedule your first appointment during the phone consultation. My sessions are 50 minutes long.  Weekly sessions are recommended in the beginning of therapy.
